FAQ/Ordering Information, Postage Costs & Accepted Methods of Payment

All inquiries will be answered within 72 hours or sooner. If you are not receiving an answer from us, please check in your junk mail folder as it may have been filtered or you should check that your account has enough storage space to accept new e-mails.
ITEM AVAILABILITY: Please be advised that all items that are listed on this site are in stock and are readily available for shipping. We do not have a "pre-order" section in which a deposit is required up front for an item to be received prior to its release date from the manufacturer.
SOLD OUT ITEMS: If we are sold out of an item in which you have ordered and paid for, a refund will be made and will show up on your method of payment to us. We do not issue credit slips so please keep this in mind.
GUARANTEE/RETURN POLICY: All items are guaranteed for 30 days from the shipping date. Any returns must be approved by us first. If you receive a parcel that has been damaged, please contact us and we will file an insured parcel report with the United States Postal Service in regards to this matter to which it will then be straightened out by them.
PAYMENTS: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, Diners Club International, Digital Check, debit cards with Visa and MasterCard logos on them as well as payment by Credit Card or Electronic Funds Transfer through PayPal. Please note that for non - U.S. currencies, payment options are limited to that of Visa and MasterCard only. Additionally, payment for items from U.S. customers who do not provide a confirmed address will be blocked as well as that of eChecks and German bank transfers too.
POSTER ORDERS: All poster orders regardless of their size shall be placed independently (i.e. as a separate order and combined with other posters) from that of your regular order since we receive them already rolled up and are mailed out to you separately in a standard heavy duty mailing tube designed specifically for posters.
NOTE: If you make a mistake and combine the two orders, you will be asked to pay for the extra postage that is necessary to send the poster (or posters) out to you or you may simply cancel the order for the poster or posters for this costs us more money to send.

HOW WE GRADE OUR ITEMS: Below is a table of how we grade our products for you. We try to be as accurate as possible in this fashion and we do not say that an item is in Near Mint condition if it is in Very Good condition, etc.
TRADING POLICY: We do not engage in any type of trading whatsoever regardless of how rare your item may be.
DISCOUNTS: We do not give discounts on our products or on shipping costs.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING: Domestic Media Mail® (Small Package with Signature Confirmation) is $4.73 for the first item, $1.50 each additional. Domestic Media Mail® (Large Package with Signature Confirmation ) is $5.12 for the first item, $1.50 each additional.Domestic Priority Mail® (Small Package with Signature Confirmation) is $5.65 for the first item, $1.50 each additional. Domestic Priority Mail® (Large Package with Signature Confirmation) is $11.05 for the first item, $1.50 each additional.First-Class Mail® International (Small Package Registered) is $18.82 for the first item, $2.00 each additional. First-Class Mail® International (Large Package Registered) is $23.98 for the first item, $2.00 each additional.Priority Mail® International (Small Package) is $26.50 for the first item, $3.00 each additional. Priority Mail® International (Large Package) is $29.75 for the first item, $3.00 each additional.
Insurance can be purchased for an additional fee towards each of the above-referenced shipping options with the exception of First-Class Mail® International. Please let us know the total amount of your order and we will send you the appropriate invoice with the total amount due.
HOW AND WHEN WE DISPATCH OUR ITEMS: All items ordered will be sent via the United States Postal Service and are mailed out in brand new sturdy mailer type envelopes for LP's and 7" singles and bubble-mailer envelopes for CD's and audio cassette tapes respectively with extra protective cardboard mailer inners and bubble wrap for protection.
We mail your parcels out to you on the first and third Saturday of the month so please get your orders in on a timely fashion so that we can process them for it is our policy to wait at least 3 to 4 business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays) prior to your parcel being mailed out. The reason being for this, is because we have to wait until your payment clears the system. Hence, you will be receiving an e-mail from us after placing your order which will tell you as to when (i.e. the specific date) your parcel will be mailed out and when you should expect it to arrive in the mail.
FOREIGN SHIPPING POLICY: Please state whether or not you would like to have your parcel insured prior to having it being mailed out to you. If you decide not to have your parcel insured, Maiden Mania Records & Rarities will not be held responsible for any losses and/or damage to your parcel once it leaves our end. In addition, unless specified otherwise by the buyer when placing their order, all parcels shall be declared at their full purchase value price when shipped and the buyer shall be held responsible to pay for all customs fees when the parcel or parcels are received on their end in their country. Hence, if you refuse or decide not to pay the customs fee(s) on your end of the table, your parcel (or parcels) will simply become abandoned and no refund will be given back to you.

TRANSIT TIMES: Maiden Mania Records & Rarities shall not be held responsible whatsoever for service transit time. Transit times are provided by the USPS and are to be used only as a guideline and exclude weekends and holidays and may vary with package origin and their destination during peak periods.
CUSTOMS: Customs vary by Country so the amount of time may vary before you receive your parcel in the mail so please be patient.
